Behind the camera

Prior to starting my photography business, I spent 13 years as the Creative Service Manager for Shopko Corporation. There I led a team of Art Directors and Graphic Designers. As the Creative Manager it was my responsibility to establish marketing strategies and overseeing the overall creative process for all print creative, in-store visuals, broadcast, photography and internal communications. I was very hands on in developing the creative vision and standards.

I am also a mama to three beautiful children, Ameila (9) and Quinn (7), and our little man Reid (4 ) who know all too well my love for photographing life. While I love photographing my children, I often times remind myself to be more present and live in the moment. I am also wife to the most supportive husband, Brett, who encourages me every day to be the best version of me and to chase my dreams. It was his encouragement that gave me the courage to leave my corporate life behind and do what truly makes me happy. As a family we love spending time together at our home away from home in Door County and love going on adventures, most recently we spend 3 weeks in Switzerland. My hope for my family is to live a life with no regrets.
